Dont worry man, apparently theyre moving the plays from one server to another so once its done you should get them all back.
I preferred the old player.

hey hey dude, yea i had the same problem with my bands myspace, we all of a sudden lost over 2000 hits when the new player was introduced.
i emailed myspace about it and i didnt get a response but a few days later i got my 2000 hits back
i dont konw if its a problem that will fix itself or if you gotta get in contact with em to push them to do it
but id say if its been more than a week and it hasnt gone back to normal then email those hoes!
cheers

Not sure if you know the deal with the new Myspace player – they’re updating and syncing up, so plays will be tallied and you’ll get them back.
Are you going to Blip this year?

NEW MUSIC PLAYER – AAAGH!
1. I can’t change the running order of the tracks.
2. The lyrics button doesn’t work.
3. There’s no longer a download facility.
4. I can’t change the pictures.
5. My proud record of over 16000 plays has been reset to zero.
6. It just gives me error messages when I attempt to upload tracks.
7. It no longer displays the album name or year.
8. It grotesquely stretches the pictures to make them fit the box.
9. There’s a button at the top which does nothing.
Aaaagh!

Same thing for me too, guys. On top of that, I have
tried to upload new songs three times, all within the
file size limit, and there is still nothing whatsoever on the player! After complaining to MySpace, their
customer service sent me this:
Hello,
Thank you for reporting this issue to us, however MySpace.com is currently addressing the problem at this time. Until the issue is resolved, we greatly appreciate your patience, and our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
Thank you,
MySpace.com
I, in turn replied back to tell them what I thought:
Well MySpace,
many thanks for replying at all, which I didn’t expect, but the stock response you have given tells me absolutely nothing whatsoever. An estimated time until resolution of the problem would be far better than the given (non) information imparted. I suppose that is cyberworld though – impersonal and
a law unto itself.
Yours Sincerely,
Will Brazier-Smith

After this, the player still doesn’t work, and no one
can hear my new songs. I’m not impressed at all!

my problem it’s about that don’t appear on my profile, i know i can change the skin of my playlist but in my “song & video profile” don’t appear my thing of music, so i can’t change nothing, i think. And i can’t see the “my music” link in “music”, someone can hlep me?

Its the new major label deal…indie and unsigned artists are being shoved out.Watch for a new “fee” for musicians to showcase songs…” Tom ” is now 30 suits sitting around a table in a bored room.
Slowly people will drift and wander elsewhere…everybody loses.

I hate this new music player too, it’s causing so many problems they’ve should of just kept the old one up….arghh
anyways, the problem i’m having with the player is when i update my artist page and add a song to it, it won’t let me add the song to any myspace profile…the add button on the player won’t work at all… I’ve read about people having the same problem, i’m guessing it’s just the new music player?
thanks for the help everyone, i hope all these issues get fixed soon

I’m having the same problem… I uploaded two new songs and the have be stuck at 0 for two days now. The other tracks are stuck at the same count they were at when I uploaded the new ones. Of course I emailed myspace and got some bogus response. I’m frustrated!!
I hope you guys are right about their servers and the track count will come back..
